Risk and Waivers
Travel in mountainous environments includes varying levels of risk exposure. Your guide is trained to mitigate and minimize this risk but exposure cannot be eliminated completely. Hazards you could be exposed to on your trip include avalanches, crevasse fall, rock fall, falls from heights, wildlife encounters, difficult travel conditions, adverse weather conditions, behaviours of other groups, hazards associated with snowmobiles and small aircraft, infectious disease, etc.
Before you submit any payment for a course or trip, you are required to view the applicable waiver(s) and medical form. All guests, including yourself and anyone participating under your reservation, are required to sign the applicable Waiver(s) before the commencement of the trip/course. If the waiver(s) are not completed, participation will not be allowed.
PLEASE READ THE WAIVER(S) CAREFULLY! By signing you will waive or give up the right to sue or claim compensation following an accident. If you are booking for others, it is your responsibility to inform them of this waiver requirement and give them an opportunity to review the applicable waiver(s) prior to booking and making payment.
You can download the PDFs and review them here (they are also available for viewing when you reserve and checkout). You can complete the medical form prior to the arriving. The Waiver(s) will be provided for you at the start of your course or trip.
Before you submit your payment, you will have to indicate that you, and all others you are booking for, have had the opportunity to read the applicable waiver(s) and agree the waiver(s) must be signed to participate.

Our trips are rooted in risk management and the highest of operational standards with regard to managing mountain hazard. Participating in wilderness activities is inherently risky and although we manage the risks, it is important to understand we cannot eliminate all risks. By participating, you acknowledge and agree you accept the risks associated with the activities.
